This range of antistatic bags and box liners are designed to prevent the build-up of static electricity, which dissipates across its surface. The distinctive red-tinted polythene – which appears pink – is Type II industry-standard and will not generate static charge when rubbed against other materials (tribocharging), making it suitable for introduction to an Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA), whilst its ability to repel dust makes the bags ideal for storing parts on (non-EPA) assembly lines. Available in a range of commonly-used sizes, all bags are bottom-weld and, at 75-microns thick, provide good scratch protection, whilst the gusseted box liners are useful for bulkier items before packing in cartons or outer protective packaging.
