RecyCold  ® cool packs are designed for products that need cooling during unconditioned transport

• The paper pouches have a polyethylene coating, and inside each pocket is a 100% biodegradable cooling gel
• This creates a product that is suitable for indirect food contact
• The ink used for printing on the exterior is also suitable for indirect food contact
• The freezing point is approximately -2 degrees Celsius
• The cool packs can maintain temperatures between 2-8 degrees and -2 to -5 degrees Celsius
• Suited for single-use commercial applications but can be re-used by consumers
• At end of life, the gel can be disposed of in the garden, or in a bio-container
• The pouch can be recycled as paper in many countries
